The all-in-one credit card

http://money.cnn.com/2007/08/23/technology/one_credit_card.biz2/index.htm?section=money_pf

If you're like many folks (myself included) you probably carry too much plastic in your wallet.  There are the credit cards, supermarket cards, library cards, CVS cards...and the list continues. According to CNNMoney.com, the average consumer carries nine credit, debit and loyalty cards in their wallet.

I know I've often wished there was a way to carry less, other than weeding out my cards each time I left the house, and that's not a good option.

Enter the ICache.  A device that will store all your card information, becoming in effect, an all-in-one card.  And they've thought of everything...the device is secured by your thumbprint, and upon your choice, imprints a card with the information from whichever card you want to use.  After one use, the information disappears off the card.   Should be interesting to watch if this takes off...I think it will.

Come check out my new blogs

It's been an incredibly busy year, but honestly, I had no idea that it was that long since I posted here.  I am back to writing and blogging more regularly, and part of that will be on two new blogs.

The first is "Rethinking" http://glimmers.wordpress.com/ my personal and professional blog.

Transformational Girlfriends is the other one, and this is a collaborative effort with several other fantastic women.  http://transformationalgirlfriends.wordpress.com/

Stop by both, leave a comment.

And thanks for stopping by!

Fresh herbs for the gardening challenged

I admit it, I have a black thumb. But I keep trying (sort of). And here comes the Herbi...a indoor herb planter that requires minimal effort and zero gardening talent.

Maybe I can finally have fresh basil all the time?

Travel Pillow - Gizmodo

Not that I need an extra gizmo to pack.  By the time I've loaded my laptop, IPod, Palm, digital camera and all my other travel items into my carry on, I'm really thrilled that it's on wheels.  But this travel pillow, inflatable, does look like a nice alternative to catching up on my latest book.Travel_pillow

Have you ever been in a bar or restaurant, or some other location where a television or multiple televisions are blaring out commercial after commercial (I kid you not, a local restaurant has TVs that only broadcast commercials) or some obnoxious news show? Well help is here in the form of TV-B-Gone. A small device that has 20 of the most popular tv off codes programmed into it. Help is on the way!
