Several years back, when I was working with my coach, he asked a question..."what's your quirk?" Of course I couldn't come up with one, after all I was a responsible adult, had my own coaching business, was respected in the community. How could I possibly be considered quirky?
Well, for those who know me, I have quite a few quirks that I have come to admit to...and love. I'm a Wonder Woman fan and that often shows up (I blogged about that earlier in my blog.) I collect cookbooks for the pleasure of reading them (over 1000 at last count.) And not the least of those is that I am a quirk-magnet...I attract and surround myself with quirky folks.
Seth Godin in his blog talks about the bits of trivia that make us remember stories and asks: "What's they have in common is pretty obvious: oxymorons. It's a safe piece of trivia that no one expects but then it's pretty easy to remember. Oxymorons make it easy to tell stories. Do you have one?"
I'd love to hear your quirks and how they show up in the way you work and live.
