I'm not a fan of to-do lists. Although I am a GREAT to-do list writer. I've learned however that unless I chunk my tasks down and actually schedule them in my calendar, they are much less likely to actually get done.

Over at 43 Folders (what, you haven't been reading 43 Folders...start now!) is a nifty (don't you love that word?) article on building a smarter to-do list. Worth reading.
