I don't know about you, but I have a ton of equipment in my office that requires an electric socket. Even if I lived in a more modern home (mine is a carriage house built in the 1880s) there would never be enough sockets in the right place. So I use power strips. But have you noticed how the big, bulky plugs preclude you from using all of the spots on those strips?
